Summer Interns are 16-18 year old who sense a calling into ministry & are choosing to assist the South Texas Rec Crew & South Texas Staff in the execution of an incredible year of Summer Camps

Summer Interns do much of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities involved in running a successful Summer Camp.

Summer Interns will have the opportunity to:

• Grow in their relationship with Jesus

• Grow in their leadership aptitude

• Get the chance to serve others like Jesus

• & build their ministry resume & earn community service hours.

This is includes assisting the Rec Crew with the running of team games, cleaning, running of the cafe & merch, prepping for services, running the sound board, ProPresenter, praying for students, & more.

There are multiple options for serving on the Summer Internship Team.

SESSION 1 - KERRVILLE

• JUNE 6-20 - $450 - $850

• *OPTION 1: $450 | JUNE 6-13 | YOUTH FOCUS

• *OPTION 2: $450 | JUNE 14-20 | KIDS FOCUS

• *OPTION 3: $850 | JUNE 16-20 | YOUTH & KIDS

SESSION 2 - FOREST GLEN

• JUNE 13-20 - $500

• YOUTH FOCUS

SESSION 3 - LAKE TOMAHAWK

• JUNE 27-JULY 8 - $750

• YOUTH & KIDS FOCUS

SESSION 4 - FOREST GLEN

• JULY 18-27 - $600

• KIDS FOCUS

Ideally, a Called Summer Intern member would serve the entire Summer, but we know this is not always possible, so we’ve given several options.

Absolutely! If you do a great job this Summer, you can definitely use this experience on your resume & reach out to info@stxym.org for a written letter of recommendation if needed.

These hours can be counted toward Community Service for National Honor Society & other similar programs.

All applicants must be between 16-18 years old as of June 1, 2024.
